Ky Ryuu

Hey guys! Been crazy busy this week with trying to find a new place to live and working on a children's book. I'm happy with how this came out. I originally wanted to draw some new concepts on Ky. I'm more sold on this portrayal of him. People at school said he didn't look vagabond-y enough, so I think the hair helps. 

Also practicing brushes and background more. This turned into a bigger thing than I meant, but that happens sometimes. I'm going to be posting some studies of him tonight on tumblr as well. 

In the next week I'm going to announce when "Book of Tamiko" will be released online and where. I'm pretty stoked to finally get this story in motion! So keep a lookout for a journal soon. (:

Also, would you guys prefer a black and white comic or a colored one? I'm wrestling with which way I'm going to go with this.
